Worn Down

As of 17 May 2010, I had worked past 20 hours at a go with less than 8 hours of sleep for 2 days, used an electronic hand drill and almost screwing up (pun fully intended) the backdrop, about to freeze to death if not for director's jacket, and so tired I started became enthusiastically helping the China workers to set up while walking/running barefoot in the entire ballroom full of nails, wood pieces and drills. 0,0

And just the same morning, I broke my Bio-Essence, with all the oil essence and broken glass shards around my feet. To get things cracking I picked up the pieces quickly, only to have a cut of my wrist that looked like I committed suicide with the plaster on. =,=

Hell only begins when the following day you wake up to 16 missed calls, 13 messages and 8 whatsapp notifications.

"OH FUCK!!!!!" was the only thing that went through my mind, followed by the astonished and furious reactions/expressions I'm going to get from my superiors.

The clock says 12.30pm. I was supposed to have been to two places by then.

In a hurry, I tripped on the spillage the previous day and landed hard not on my meaty butt, but on the freaking spinal cord. I'm so grateful or being young, I'm pretty sure I would be dead by now if I'm 60 years old.

You know how when something bad happens, it normally follows through?

I scalded two fingers while trying to get some water, and later on in the day had a bitchy supplier who mocked at me.

I'm so glad everything's over! From tomorrow onwards, there'll be choir, nice people, KTV, Dimsum, Cider, Melon, plus a week-long trip, hopefully everything turns out great for me. :D

LaSalle Bootcamp

It's one of those pensive nights and I've decided to start the ball rolling again, although I can't afford to let it roll into a big ball tonight because I have an early day tomorrow.

So just a quick one:

A pencil sketching that I'm proud of, drew it 2 months ago at LaSalle's portfolio Bootcamp. We were given the small piece of paper (right) and in order to test our observation skills, we have to flip the piece of paper around, and draw from bottom up.

Moreover, we were forbidden to use the eraser (thus explains the huge right shoulder, haha). I'm glad I didn't, yet I still love the result.

Ah Dai The Friendly Giant

NOTE: Stupid draft system did not manage to post this up that was scheduled in early Dec. Tsk.

I am such a hermit!

For the past two months when I have been to U Petgamart at Pasir Ris, I did noticed Ah Dai’s disappearance. However, I thought he was just out for a walk, training or something. I only found out today that he had passed away for 2 months!

According to the sources, it was due to some heart problems. It was a sudden death. Sigh, he was such a great dog. Ah Dai is Petgamart’s resident pet dog (Great Dane) for years.

Every time you enter the shop, he would come forward to greet you or be seen playing with kids/staff/other furkids. QQ have also been playing with him on several occasions, and I personally like him quite a bit too.

The first time I saw him I was slightly intimidated for being in such lose proximity with such a huge canine. I am damn goondu, thought he was an overgrown Dalmation. *face palm*

He is very much well-liked and popular in the whole dogosphere, considering that just by Googling his name, you get multiple results of him written by bloggers; Discussions in dog forums; Twits even; Heck, he even had a proper news article for his cremation ceremony.

We seldom see such big, friendly dogs around here very much. What a pity, Ah Dai is still so young (3 yo +)! Great Danes normally lived up to 7 years.

Rest in peace big guy! You’ve lived well, loved and be loved by so many people!

Disclaimer: Pictures used are not mine. Just wanted to show how Ah Dai looks like. Thank you.
