When I Turn 22 Last December...

There are no more elaborate parties nor celebrations, just a quiet cake-cutting ritual that took place at night.

Cake from The Icing Room failed to impress my taste buds.

Only that greedy girl seem to enjoy it much.

Sis had to go off straight after, she had a date elsewhere.

In the day, we just roamed around a mall.  Not knowing what to get me, he eventually got me a pair of handy earphones.  I like his confidence, knowing that I would use it often.

The night before, the sleepover was fun.  He presented me with a video, inspired by HIMYM:

A video he started compiling just a few days before.  +1 for effort, -1 for the last minute effort.  Hur.

I've finally completed my Thank You messages here, to the 71 people who cared :)

I'm sorry I took so long to just say thank you! And I know it looks super amateurish. Heh.

Last but not least, special love to B for spending the day and night with me.  Thank you for your effort trying to make me happy. :)

On Dogs...

It's been some time since I catch the blogging bug. Mommy and I both blame it on the new social media called Plurk. This micro-blogging gadget came in so handy for the ever-busy mommy, she can update her thoughts and whereabouts at any time of the day within 20 seconds.

Blogging on the other hand requires lots of time and effort.

Anyway, the reason why I decided to blog is because Mommy just read an two entries on Bear's blog, and she seemed very very furious. Last weekend, Bear's Pa had text Mommy regarding the accident. Mommy and I are ashamed of ourselves for not following up on this issue.

Nigel looks like he's in so much pain! I hope Nigel a speedy recovery. Please let his jaw heal by himself and no need to amputate his jaw. :'(

Sigh.

Birthday Gratitude

I hope you didn't miss the Christmas countdown like I did, nor how I missed my New Year's countdown as well. No, this is not an unhappy thing. In fact, it was the exact opposite. Over the past weekend I had so much fun and intoxication, I have neglected my virtual "daily" log, dammit.

Knowing that my 19th birthday has since passed 6 days ago and I have yet to express my gratitude, I feel guilty.

Firstly, on the 27th and 28th when I looked at my gmail, I got a shock:

I think it's the first time ever in a single night I received so many emails (with no spam) and they are filled with well wishes! But, it didn't feel very nice because many who wished me were either acquaintances (hello, I don't think you really bother about my happiness and my birthday) or strangers (worse). Nevertheless, those friends whom I haven't been able to catch up with, thank you all. :)

No really, I don't think my sis look awful here, shows that we're homely people what!

Secondly, I wanna thank these people mentioned for the text messages (albeit some were two days late):
  • Dwayne
  • Wai
  • Eil
  • Kimmo
  • Emerson
  • Zhen Han
  • Don
  • Jia Ling
  • Kai Yuan
  • Luther
  • Zhao Rong
  • Jun Ji
  • Liang Yu
  • Alvin Ee
  • Anonymous "Happy Birthday! Hope you haven lost your phone again n dunno who i am ah. Heh heh" - Who are you??! Hahaha.
  • Gibbie
  • Ruok aka Vincent aka Rapist
  • Onion
  • Sebastian
  • Kien Hoe
  • TK
  • Dishan
  • James O'Brien
  • Jian Wei
  • Victor Ho
  • Kumz
  • Yong Xuan
  • Samuel
You all make a gleeful Thiang on the 28th, while I was frolicking at the beach.

Thirdly, thank you to those who greeted me, shook hands with me and wished me happiness face-to-face. These include:
  • VK
  • Derrick
  • Bjorn
As you can see, I am very good at remembering these types of details. Muahaha.

Fourthly, to those who presented me with presents!
  • Kam Fung
  • Cai Ying
  • Kimmo/Shy/Marvin
  • TK
  • Sis
  • Dad
  • Mom
Big hugs!

Fifth, I wanna give a shout out to Dwayne, and thank him for clearing one of the toughest wish on my list.

In my final list, he cleared the cantonese birthday song. He called shortly after the clock strikes twelve and over the phone and gathered loads of courage to do that. I must admit I was deeply impressed and touched. Thank you! I hope you find peace and happiness soon (you know what I mean).

I have found a shop that sells dog carriers that seems pretty promising to me! And I think I will get it, when I feel "rich" once in a while. Heh.

Point number 10 seems a little awkward. That's because I did receive something "handmade" from my dearest, as well as a card from my best friend from secondary school! I love these awesome people! Thank you Ming Le, I like your present!

In order to uh, spread my joy, I've decided to bombard this post with loads of photos of myself and each of them named "Rapturous!". Heh heh. Let me off the hook this time okay?

Despite the fact that the number of presents decrease, I have this strong incling that those who gave them to me this year, mean so much more.

This year, my birthday was a quiet affair, no deliberate "oi, today is my birthday leh!" kind of announcements, nor "buy me presents leh" proclamations. I just smiled while enjoying the fantastic weather at Tanjong beach.

This little brat probably enjoyed herself a lot more than I did! ^^

What surprise me though, was the fact that I actually agreed to go to the beach, when I dislike the beach (generally).

Perhaps due to my Sept trip to the island that made me gradually fall in love with the sand and water (still no sun please thank you). Which reminds me that I haven't blogged about it... ... *avoids*

What's new to me was that I actually spent my day with a few other people whom I do not know, and helped them take photos (I did not appear in any of it afterwards either).

I don't have any negative feelings, but felt serene, calm and contented. No doubt I'm a sore loser (generally).

If I told you every year during my cake-cutting moment I  am very nervous, so much so I just wanna get it over and done with quickly and at the same time my mind is a blank piece of paper so whenever they ask me to a make a wish I actually didn't make any even if I've already tried to force my brain to come up with one so I told a white lie and said I've "made a wish", would you believe me?

Last but not least, wishing all a very fruitful year 2009 ahead!
*skips off to examine my new scheduler, squeals in elation*

UPDATED : Thank you to the great barflies at CBB too!

Merry Christmas 'o8

My Christmas Eve was spent in school with BoyThunder and Eil doing our project work (so loser-ish I know). We had the companionship of Gibby's as well.

As usual, Gerald and I would be late, only this time he was way later than me.

He saved his own ass when he lugged a bag of goodies and passed the tidbits around:

Heh. It's been a long time since I last received a candycane! So we all starting tearing off the wrapper and eating it. That was my lunch by the way, and decided that it was not right. So I head over to the vending machine to purchase the tapioca chips, and it got stuck in the machine. =,=

By evening, I've found myself a new shopping kaki, and I love him! *rubs palm with glee*

My Chirstmas countdown was spent playing Cherades, Pictionary and Uno. I also shared my UP and DOWN for the year, and guess what was my answer for the UP part?

Getting to know a new bunch of friends from this place called CowboyBar. I said,
Even though the age gap between the youngest barfly to the oldest barfly is not exactly small, we get along just fine and they are a group of very nice people!I like spending time together with them.

But of course I have yet another UP too. ;)

QQ received a present that she didn't really fancy.

I think it's the bells. And the sizing is wrong. QQ's head is too small.

But she looked absolutely adorable in it. *rubs her face*

Okay, I'm off to work! And for the first time, we get to wear our own clothes instead the usual uniform for work! I even bought a prop to go along with my "theme". Heh.

QQ The Terror

Hi! It's QQ reporting for thiang.blogspot.com again!

Today I've decided to just make a point that despite my petite size (I'm slightly smaller than a mini schnauzer, so that makes me a mini mini schnauzer, okay?), I can do damages detrimental to the humans as well.

So keep it quiet so I can show you around. But please, promise me you won't let the beans out of the bag.
Here's the damage:

Pretty impressive eh? I'm quite proud of my work, I gnawed and chewed all day to achieve this. It kinda made me feel like partying because of all the confetti on the floor. Sigh, I wished Mommy could bring me to those fancy dog parties.

You know the saying something bad happens when you least expected it? I finally understood what it meant. Upon Mommy's return that night, hell hath no fury like her.

She unleashd the inner beast in her and it was so scaaaaaary.

I had to find a "safer" spot, was what I thought. But it didn't help much. Somehow or rather using my magical puppy power, Mommy went soft when she saw me hiding under the chair. Does any of you know why she suddenly when "awww'" and rushed to her room to get the black metal thingy and started pressing its button????

Oh well, so much for asking you to keep a secret for me. I am born lucky. ^^v

Can I Castrate You?

Hello World,

Mommy had sent me here once again, for a quick update. She seemed to be pretty pissed, judging by her topic. I think it's because of me.

She had brought me to the East Coast Park today, and then while we were happily strolling along the walkway, I came across these two Jack Russell Terriers (JRT). So naturally, I got really excited and started to make loud noises - it sounded very much like "gwaarrrrrr" and "arggggggh" and "wooooooooooooof!".

I was being very tactless and did not manage to see Mommy's embarrassment. She held me back, tried to calm me down (which I totally ignored) and we slowly approached the JRTs. I think because both the dogs and the owner looked pretty approachable, we have decided to say hi and make friends.

Little did I know, with my first sniff, one of the JRTs gave me a snap and bit my face. I was in pain but I couldn't retaliate. I didn't know how. Mommy was in pain too but she recalled BearPa once told her not to separate an attacking dog in case the dog might bite, so she pulled back half way after attempting to rescue me.

Mommy wanted to pull me away but because the stupid JRT was holding on to my face, I yelped in agony.

Mommy was so angry because apparently the owner (I strongly disagree to call the dog their "dad", coz' he's quite a fucktard really) DID NOT do anything to control his dog, EVEN KNOWING THAT HE'S ATTACKING ME.

CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?

He did not even TRY.

And he calls himself a....dog owner? Furthermore, he had TWO JRTs.
He is unbelievable.

In defense, I know I sound very bias here, but I did not do anything cheeky to provoke them. I was just being myself, wanting to get to know them. So why must he injure me?

Mommy said what's worse, was that the owner "did not fucking apologise or look apologetic AT ALL".

So much for all the reports on "Rottweilers severly injure the puny, pathetic JRT".

You see, my Rottie brothers are actually angels in disguise:

Mommy just asked me to write this down, "I have nothing against JRTs, but fucking grow some balls to control your dogs. Son of a bitch!".

Now, allow me to get some rest after a marvellous day with Mommy and Daddy...

QQ's Debut!

Hello, I'm QQ and this is my debut entree. Woofps, I meant 'entry'.  So here I embark on my territorializing mini journey during my weekend trips.

Bear Pa had been very kind, bringing QQ alongside with Bear and Bruno to wherever – KM8, Swimming Pool and Sengkang Fernvale area.

Mommy had something on (as always) so I was left in good hands of the gentle giant.
Bear and Bruno are either my dark angels or big brothers. As cool as they appear to be, they are actually very loving and concerned about me!

Like how I Bruno was worried that I might be lonely, he joined me with some of my bunny antics –and we play pretend. It was so much fun just hopping around and Bruno. But I got a little scared when he gets a little too excited.

I have no idea I could have this expression until mommy found this picture of me on Bear’s blog. And next to me is my knight I shining armour, trying to catch up! Hahaha.

Actually I’ve been thinking Bear smell a bit funny for the whole day so I went to inspect… and apparently he haven’t showered. Okay fine, I was stealing a kiss.

With the recent hoo-ha on the case of Rottweilers-gone-wild, the AVA had set new rules for Bear’s breed and we all thought it was unfair. You can read the full article HERE and you know, make noise at the forum. I mean, judging with how I can be perfectly fine (or even better) around Bear & Bruno, Rottweilers are fine if trained! In fact, the injuries and bruises Mommy suffered from are inflicted by me. *guilty*

See, they look so majestic! Mommy was telling me how much she liked Bruno because he has a young, handsome face while Bear have this older, dumber-looking face (like his Pa). BearPa didn’t seem to be very happy though. Hur.

This is a pretty picture of me (all photos credited to BearPa) and find out more truths on Rotties THERE instead!

Yeah yeah, I know I’m underweight (blame it on Mommy) and I looked draggled, but that’s only because I just had my weekend fun!

After all, this is the first time Mommy actually let me blog about my life so I have to feature myself. Hee. :)

I hate it when Mommy always plays a trick on me by leaving me alone, like in the car. Knowing that I can’t contain the excitement when I see her when she comes back from somewhere, she’ll make the process miserable for me. BearPa took this picture when I first spotted Mommy from afar, waiting for her to come pick me up.

To further highlight the fact that Rottweilers can be extremely safe, check this out:

In case you haven’t noticed, I was actually trampling and sleeping all over Bear and Bruno while they were sleeping, having a hell lot of fun. Hahaha.

Last week we headed to the Botanic Gardens and apparently Mommy couldn’t help but hugged Bruno long and tight. I was hopping with jealousy at the side. ☹

Bruno is such a lucky boy. Mommy did say why she preferred Bruno though. He’s slightly rebellious (in a cute manner) and is the bo-chup cool cool one, Mommy’s type of guy. Sigh, I am a girl in heat and licked by many of the boys in a single day.

I feel like such a slut. ☹

No lah, they all adore me. :D

Until next time,
