More than twice I was dared to explore the vicinity with my secondary school mates. However, I never had the guts to do it.
Come September 2, it will be the official screening day for the local documentary film, Haunted Changi.
Here's a summarized version of what I know about the OCH:
Back in the olden days during Singapore was under the attack of Japanese in World War II, OCH was made the headquarter of the Japanese and main camp for the Prisoner-of-war (POW)s. The area was also used for the execution and torture of POWs, thus known for its bloody history.
The Singapore Paranormal Investigators had compiled a list of photos during their numerous "ghost hunts" and you can read up more on than if you're one who likes this kind of thing.
A group of daredevil local film makers have decided to go a journey to capture their trips to OCH in January this year. Here's a sneak peek of what to expect in the upcoming film:
I think the most bizarre thing that happened to the crew members (their blog HERE) is that each one of them fell ill after the filming commences. Hurhur, spooky huh?
For many years there have been stories, urban legends and people sharing their encounters at OCH, this film was made to bust all myths and pieced together so that they can tell the full story via the crew's footage.
Green Man is very keen on watching Haunted Changi and have been bugging me to watch all the trailers, become a Facebook Fan and had even followed their Twitter page.Yes, I think he's obsessed. Haha.
Nevertheless, I am pretty intrigued to catch this film when it's out next month.
Haunted Changi is also holding a contest now to give away a camera package that includes one Sony HDR-CX520e Handycam (which enables you to shoot full HD, high-resolution photos and has a featured infrared "Night Vision") worth $3,000.
